COVID-19 Legal Update: B&I Attorneys Offer Webinar for Employers
On March 24, 2020, Peter Lowe and Dan Stockford presented a webinar in which they addressed a myriad of issues arising out of the current pandemic that impact the workplace, including: pay, leaves, quarantine, return to work, travel bans, medical notes, confidentiality, and disability rights. In the webinar, they discussed new federal statutes instituting paid emergency leave and an amendment to the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the impact these new laws may have on employer policies and business practices.
