Brann & Isaacson Proud to Continue Support of the Maine Diversity Summer Associate Program

Brann & Isaacson is proud to continue its participation in the Maine Diversity Summer Associate Program for law students who are members of historically underrepresented groups in the legal profession. Now in its fourth year, this initiative focuses on building a diverse legal community in Maine by attracting a diverse pool of first-year law students (1Ls) from across the country for a 10-week paid summer internship in 2022 at one of the participating organizations, in Portland, Lewiston, or Bar Harbor. As a participating member, the firm will extend an offer to one successful applicant to the Maine D1L Program to join us as a summer associate.

At Brann & Isaacson, we recognize and appreciate the importance of creating a workplace environment that accepts and draws from a range of backgrounds and perspectives to ensure that our clients, attorneys, and employees all benefit from our best work informed by diverse viewpoints. The firm’s participation in the Maine D1L Program is part of our commitment to ensure diversity in our workforce, and one way we provide active support of diversity and inclusivity in our firm, the legal profession, and Maine.

More details about the program, including application instructions, are available on the program’s website.
