Brann & Isaacson Announces Charitable Contributions To Honor Clients, Friends, and Community

As we face a second Covid-19 winter, Brann & Isaacson once again is making contributions to nonprofit charities that serve our community. We hope these donations will provide immediate assistance to those who are most in need of food and shelter.

These contributions are going to the Trinity Jubilee Center, which addresses unmet needs of under-served people in Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn area by providing hot meals, healthy groceries, diapers, and shelter, as well as help with resume-writing, job applications, housing searches, and the many other challenges people face as they get back on their feet. https://www.trinityjubileecenter.org/about-us/

The contributions are also going to New Beginnings, which is designed to prevent young people from becoming homeless, support struggling families, help youth get off the streets, and provide an essential “safety net” for young people in Maine who are at risk of homelessness. Based in Lewiston, New Beginnings has program sites in Androscoggin, Franklin, and Kennebec counties for adolescents and young adults from across Maine who don’t have stable family support. https://newbeginmaine.org/

We are contributing to the Liberation Fund of the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence. The Liberation Fund provides flexible funding to cover expenses of its vulnerable population that other funds don’t. https://www.mcedv.org/

A contribution is also being given to the Root Cellar, a faith-based organization that provides food and other services to the most impoverished neighborhoods of Lewiston. https://therootcellar.org/

We make these contributions in honor of our clients and friends, and hope that you remain safe and healthy in the upcoming year.
