B&I Attorneys Offer Popular Webinars at the Maine HR Conference
Brann & Isaacson partner Peter Lowe and attorney Hannah Wurgaft presented two timely and well-attended webinars to the Maine HR Conference last week. On Monday, May 11, 2020, they led an HR Basics session entitled, “Build Your Employment Law Knowledge Base.” The session focused on a demonstration of key elements to handling a sexual harassment investigation and participating in a Maine Human Rights Commission hearing. Then, on Thursday, May 14, 2020, Lowe and Wurgaft offered a presentation on “Crafting a Great Employee Handbook.” They led participants through design-thinking exercises designed to help HR professionals consider how to build and maintain handbooks that are relevant and understandable.
