B&I Attorney Joins Inaugural Tax Notes Talk Podcast
On May 21, 2020, managing partner Martin Eisenstein appeared on the first episode of the Tax Notes Talk Podcast, “From Henry VIII to James Bond: Weird Tax Facts throughout History.” Eisenstein discussed his article, “Alexa, Is AI Taxable?”, written with Michael Carey and Jamie Szal, with Tax Notes State’s editor-in-chief Jéanne Rauch-Zender. Eisenstein addressed how states and local tax jurisdictions are responding to the proliferation of services and products incorporating artificial intelligence, and what tax practitioners should be considering in advising businesses about the tax treatment of AI.
