Bertoni and Nuzzi Publish Article, Will Host Webinar On California Prop. 65 Changes

Partners David Bertoni and Daniel Nuzzi highlight key changes to California’s Proposition 65 that will go into effect on August 30, 2018, in their newly published article, “Are You Ready for the Fast–Approaching Prop 65 Amendments?” The article discusses critical changes to labeling requirements, warning responsibilities, and the law’s safe–harbor provision that will go into effect at the end of August. They urge businesses to get up to speed on these changes quickly to avoid potential compliance pitfalls after the new provisions go into effect.

Bertoni and Nuzzi will be conducting a live webinar for BLR on July 25 to give retailers and direct marketers a heads–up on what they need to know about the new Prop. 65.

On the heels of the Supreme Court ruling on state sales, CA Prop 65 is terrible. While Brann Law’s article discussed catalog and website copy, it seems that the amended CA Prop 65 affects many other selling channels such as master catalogs, email product promotions, and product brochures.

We have worked with Brann Law for over 20 years and recommend them to our clients for retail oriented opinion and compliance.
