The September/October 2022 issue of the American Bar Association’s Probate & Property features, “The Remotest Idea—Practical Ethical Lessons Learned During the Pandemic,” co-written by partner Ben Lund, Pamela E. Baker, and Melissa G. Powers. Lund and his co-authors dive into the ethical challenges that come with the recent Covid-19-driven transition many practitioners have made to remote work and a paperless law practice. These include ensuring the confidentiality of online meetings; handling the inadvertent disclosure of confidential documents; and securing electronically stored and transmitted data.
