Former Brann & Isaacson Paralegal Jordan Goldberg to Clerk at the U.S. Supreme Court
Brann & Issacson is pleased to congratulate our former colleague, Jordan Goldberg, for earning a coveted position as law clerk to U.S Supreme Court Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
“We are thrilled that Jordan has been selected for such a competitive position in the highest court in the country,” says Stacy O. Stitham, Managing Partner at B&I. “In the two years that he worked with us as a paralegal, Jordan showed his incredible intelligence and grasp of the subtle aspects of the law. We’re not surprised that he’s now being chosen for one of the most prestigious legal roles in the country.”
Jordan Goldberg worked as a paralegal in the Lewiston offices of B&I from 2014 to 2016. He took on the role with the law firm after studying under the late George Isaacson in his second year at Bowdoin College. Isaacson, a former senior partner at B&I who also taught at Bowdoin for 50 years, was renowned as a talent spotter. He encouraged Goldberg to get practical experience of the law, and offered him a role as paralegal at B&I.
In an interview published by Bowdoin College, Goldberg shared: “George became a mentor to me, and we had some wonderful conversations… He said that, before making a decision about whether to go to law school, it would be good to get some experience of the actual practice of law.”
