B&I Partner on Harvard Panel Concerning Amicus Briefs
Brann & Isaacson partner Peter Brann will be a panelist at Harvard Law School on October 27, 2021, speaking about the role and importance of amicus briefs in advocacy before the Supreme Court and elsewhere. Brann is also a Visiting Lecturer in Law at Harvard co-teaching a class entitled The Role of State Attorneys General. State Attorneys General are the second most frequent participant in the Supreme Court, and their amicus briefs dramatically increase the chances that the Court will take a case. Brann and other B&I lawyers frequently file amicus briefs in the Supreme Court and elsewhere on behalf of internet and multi-channel companies and organizations on intellectual property issues.
