Maine Supreme Judicial Court Honors B&I Attorney For Pro Bono Work

On October 12, 2018, the Maine Supreme Judicial Court presented Brann & Isaacson attorney Connor Beatty with an award in recognition for his achievement of Katahdin Counsel status. The Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program honors Maine attorneys who have completed 50 or more hours of pro bono legal work within the past year, meaning work on behalf of clients of limited means with no expectation that the attorney will be paid. Beatty far exceeded this threshold, logging 173 pro bono hours during the past year. He was one of five attorneys in Androscoggin County named Katahdin Counsel this year.
